From The Founder
Hi! I’m Jessica Festa, and I’m the founder of NYC Photo Journeys. I’m a native New Yorker, and I’ve always been fascinated by my city – from popular sites like Rockefeller Center and the Statue of Liberty (my grandparents immigrated through Ellis Island from Italy before settling in Queens) to lesser-known gems and the outer boroughs.
I’ve noticed that very few visitors feel confident exploring lesser-known places, or know how to find them. Moreover, not many tour companies offered these experiences. I knew I had to bridge this gap, so I decided show the rest of the world the real New York City – the way only a local can – and do it in an environmentally responsible, collaborative, and community-friendly way.
