Annual Giving
NYC Photo Journeys is passionate about responsible tourism and making a difference not only in the lives of our guests by showing them a fantastic time in NYC, but also our sisters and brothers around the world.
For this reason, we donate 1% of profits made from tours booked directly on nycphotojourneys.com to a select charity each year.
From 2017-2024, we donated to 100cameras, a 501c3 non-profit organization on a mission to teach kids how to use storytelling through photography to make lasting change in their community.
In 2025, we’ll be donating 1% of our annual profits to Best Friends Animal Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates the nation’s largest sanctuary for homeless animals and provides adoption, spay/neuter, and educational programs—including in New York City.
TripAdvisor Review Donations
Since September 2017, for every review left on NYC Photo Journeys TripAdvisor page, we’ve donated $3 to a timely charity.
- In 2017, we donated to GlobalGiving.org
- In 2018, we donated to The Joyful Heart Foundation
- In 2019, we donated to Robin Hood NYC
- In 2020, we donated to the Best Friends Animal Society
- In 2021-2024, we donated to City Harvest
In 2025, we will again be donating to City Harvest, a nonprofit focused on feeding hungry New Yorkers. Currently, 1.5 million New Yorkers are struggling to feed themselves. Every $1 donated helps provide food for two New Yorkers for a day.
Ongoing Giving & Volunteer Work
We also work with New York Cares—a non-profit organization that aims to improve New York City by addressing community needs through volunteer-driven programs—throughout the year.
For instance, in 2024, we participated in their annual “Winter Wishes” campaign to help buy gifts for children and teens from low-income families.
