1% Of Profits Donated
NYC Photo Journeys is passionate about responsible tourism and making a difference not only in the lives of our guests by showing them a fantastic time in NYC, but also our sisters and brothers around the world.
For this reason, we donate 1% of profits made from direct bookings to a select charity each year.
From 2017-2024, we donated to 100cameras, a 501c3 non-profit organization on a mission to teach kids how to use storytelling through photography to make lasting change in their community.
In 2025, we donated to the Best Friends Animal Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates the nation’s largest sanctuary for homeless animals and provides adoption, spay/neuter, and educational programs—including in New York City.
In 2026, we’ll be donating 1% of profits to City Harvest, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to rescue perfectly good, nutritious food and feed hungry New Yorkers.
Pop Up Donation Events
We also give back through other pop up charity events. A few of the charities we have donated to over our years of operation have included:
- GlobalGiving.org
- The Joyful Heart Foundation
- Robin Hood NYC
- Best Friends Animal Society
- City Harvest
Ongoing Giving & Volunteer Work
We also work with New York Cares—a non-profit organization that aims to improve New York City by addressing community needs through volunteer-driven programs—throughout the year.
For instance, since 2024, we’ve participated in their annual “Winter Wishes” campaign to help buy gifts for children and teens from low-income families.
