NYC Photo Journeys is passionate about responsible tourism and making a difference not only in the lives of our guests by showing them a fantastic time in NYC, but also our sisters and brothers around the world.
For this reason, we donate 1% of profits made from tours booked directly on nycphotojourneys.com to 100cameras. The 501c3 non-profit organization is funded entirely by donations. Their mission: to teach kids how to use storytelling through photography to make lasting change in their community. Their storytelling curriculum teaches personal development along with basic photojournalism skills, and the children’s photo stories are turned into sellable products. All proceeds directly fund their own medical, educational, and lifeline supplies.
A check will be written out to 100cameras in Q1 of the following year, once taxes are complete for the previous year.
Starting in September 2017, for every review left on NYC Photo Journeys TripAdvisor page, we’ll donate $3 to a timely charity. We are sending donations for the rest of 2017 to charities benefitting Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief.
We love working with nonprofits to donate tours as raffle prizes for fundraising events. Do you have a charity fundaiser coming up? Please contact us using the form below with your inquiry and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours.
